Meet Danny Brown!
Church's are struggling in today's world of moral decline and gone are the day's of hearing the Spirit Filled Preacher of our Grandmother's Tent Revival Days.
As in the style of Southern Gospel Preachers, Pastor Brown is NOT Ashamed of the Gospel, nor his undeniable Calling to the ministry which occurred in 2006. His youthful energy and Fire for the Lord: in combination with his "old soul" preaching, leave little room for doubt that this man Loves the Lord and Deeply Loves the Church and Body of Christ that he serves. His Passion and Commitment to City Park is his Living Testimony.
When Pastor Brown isn't at the Church or visiting with the sick or those in need, you may find Danny in his overalls working on his farm in Cleveland, TN. Be sure to ask him about his chickens!
City Park is greatful to have him here to minister and deliever the Word of God. And we are looking forward to sharing the Light of the Lord with him as our Church Blossom's and grows!
OUR CHURCH
My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? ...

We live in a world today where churches do not have the 'one size fits all' mentality. It is the vision of City Park Chapel to be a loving and Christian home to those who have felt unwelcomed, unloved, shamed for sins, shamed for being poor, or shamed simply for the way they look at other "churches."
City Park is a small church where you will find some one in the congregation who shares your same struggle with poverty, depression, family drama, illness, and so many other trials of the world. We are all imperfect people who simply need the ONE PERFECT LORD! God has given us each other and City Park has a burden from Christ to be a support for you as you work through life's difficulties.
Our Mission is to REACH, TEACH, AND DISCIPLE for CHRIST!
